Oculus Quest 2, issues with moving?
Hello, recently i got my quest 2. And i'm trying to play the game using the oculus quest 2 link cable.

I had some issues getting past the HMD reset menu when i started the game but i got past it. Now when i'm at the combat tutorial i only seem to be able to rotate using the right stick.

BUT, when i use the left stick nothing happens. Seems like i'm unable to move. Tried to change binding to the official TWD devs for oculus touch but it dosen't help.

Anyone else having this issue? Do i need to buy the game on oculus store instead? :(

Rather play on steam if possible..

Just to let you know I got it to work using a workshop legacy controller setting. Just go to steamvr settings and change it for this game only and you should be fine. I'm getting off so won't be able to respond.

Same issue. I think this game needs an update for Quest 2. I played with the Quest 1 and had no issues at all but with the Quest 2 I'm stuck at the main menu with it thinking I have a Vive Controller plugged in.

while in steam vr you go to setting then the controls and you can add player workshop control settings.

I'm not around my PC right now but the name was along the lines of Oculus or RIft legacy controls

Hi, I am having the same problem. On the starting screen my controllers are identified as Vive controllers. When I selected in game the developer TWD controller settings I can pass the HMD reset and manage to get through the initial tutorial (journal, flashlight etc.). When I get to the combat tutorial the sticks are not working and I cannot move. The HMD reset is not working, too anymore. I am using Oculus Link to connect to the PC not virtual desktop. Thanks in advance if anyone has a solution. Before I used the Rift and with it I could play the game.

You need to change the settings through the workshop like I posted up above.

Hello! I have the same problem. I think that I have found this legacy control setting in the Steam VR Setup room. But once I put it as the default for the Walking Dead in the room and launch the game, all setup for the legacy are erasing and buttons don't work. I also tried to apply controller settings named "Natural Locomotion" and more, no result, I still can't walk. Is there any instruction for dummies like me somewhere? Could you help me, please?

UPDATED
It works right now. I restarted the oculus quest 2 with controllers and my computer, entered the Steam VR room, opened the setup/controllers/change settings. There was the Legacy controller setting. I set it up, restarted my Oculus and computer again, launched the game and it works) There should not be any "Natural Locomotion" for the Walking dead in the menu of controllers setup. Once you see it, restart your system and enter the Steam VR Room again.

I am having the same problem and I really need someone who can kindly explain step by step. So I managed to find key binding screen. There I can go over to Steam workshop tools and find the legacy settings. However, I cannot choose that for this game.

Can somebody please help?
