Saints and Sinners PSA: add these lines to the engine file for much improved picture quality and a LOT less LOD -Texture- pop in!
I was going crazy trying to figure out why Saints and Sinners looked so bad on my 2080ti, 3600x. Had really bad LOD (level of detail) pop in with textures where a texture would change right in front of me from a low quality texture to a higher quality texture.

People said this was normal and just part of the engine....

This was ruining the experience and atmosphere so I did some research and came up with this values that can be added to the game files, which improve everything from pop in to shadow resolution, etc. Game still runs perfect for me but it does put a bit more strain on the CPU....but wow the game looks a lot better and no nasty texture pop in.

Go to C: (or whatever your main drive is) - user- your user name - appdata - local - TWD - Saved - config - Windowsnoeditor - Engine. I also put the values in gameusersettings as well.

copy and paste these values and then save the file:

[/script/engine.renderersettings]

r.ViewDistanceScale=5

r.SkeletalMeshLODBias=-2

r.StaticMeshLODDistanceScale=0.25

r.Shadow.MaxResolution=8192

r.Shadow.CSM.MaxCascades=16

r.Shadow.TexelsPerPixel=10

r.Shadow.RadiusThreshold=0.01

If anyone comes up with better values, please post them here.

Yeah it's a poor visual experience. I'm amazed that "People said this was normal and just part of the engine....". Really? Those claims were being made? It's the Unreal Engine. It's FAR more capable than the blurry, mip-map rubbish and level-of-detail settiings you'd expect on an 8-bit computer that I'm seeing :)

Sadly, I made the mistake of buying this from the Oculus store and I've no idea where the application files are to edit :/
