Audio in headset only and not in headphones

So is it just me or is the sound only in the headset in game and not headphones? Becuase recently I have been wanting to use my headphones for the game but every time i boot it up, it always comes out of my headset, all other games and sound comes from my headphones. I've looked through the settings in the game aswell and can't find any options to fix the problem. Anybody got a sullution? Or and answer from a dev would be greatly appreciated.

Yea, if you are on windows op system, you have many sound systems on your PC but just wish to use one set of speakers, right click on the speaker icon on the bottom right near the clock and date. Select sounds, a pop up tab will open and select playback tab. You should have a list of all speakers headphones and audio hardware installed. Right click on each of them and select disable to all the ones you dont require

Also right click on the sound again and select open volume mixer, under device select the down arrow and select the ones you want to use, after disabling all the rest you dont want
