Im a big ass coward, can I play this game?

I can deal with cardiac arrests, people shooting at me, and intense situations in real life. When supernatural ♥♥♥♥ pops up I turn into a little ♥♥♥♥♥. I barely got through phasmophobia on my desktop.

Oddly enough once I started playing halflife alyx I didnt have an issue. Is this game gonna give me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ heart attack?

There's a sound effect when a zombie notices you and another when they start coming after you, neither are spooky/jump scare sounds, so unless you aren't paying attention you should be fine.
the game is hella dark though so if seeing zombies in the dark is scary beware.

The game is listed as survival horror... but it isn't scary even at night to me, and survival is a joke because supplies are abundant and as days pass there is less loot... but the loot is generally better loot.

you should be fine, the zombies stand out quite a bit with visual and sound ques, the zombies are also very easy to kill. and from I remember there isn't any jumpscares in the game either
