are there any plans for a multiplayer mode? this would make this game a 100/100. i already prefer this to half life alyx, but would love it so much more if someone was there to hold my hand while going into scary places!

Only HL:A and WD:SS is really good games in VR, and only they. All other is "just normal" but usualy, 95% of all steam VR store - complitly rubbish.

Busse (the president of skydance) said this “Is [multiplayer] for sure not going to happen in Saints & Sinners? No, but I wouldn’t want people excited and expectant, because it’s not immediately about to happen…we want to capture that, but technologically it’s not trivial so it’s a balancing act.”

Basically it won't be coming anytime soon but he wants it to be implemented, it is just difficult to do so.

I think it should be like Watch Dogs. You don't have any control over who pops in your game or when. You just play the game as normal and every once in a while you run across another random survivor.
