Constant black screen.

Playing with Reverb G2. Ryzen 5950x processor, 64 gigs of DDR6 RAM, RTX 3090. Any time I try to go to the game menu, black screen. Randomly when I have to shake off a walker, black screen. Sometimes for no reason at all, black screen. I can still hear the game going on and I can walk around etc, I just cant see anything. What is the deal?

No luck as of yet, unfortunately. I have just gotten better at not getting grappled by walkers, since that seems to be the most common cause

Have you lowred the volume, you can't use 100% volume on the G2 it causes one of both screens to go black when loud noises happen, max is 90% volume, in really noisy games, you should problably play in with 85%

Any news ? I'm having the exact same problem: whenever I push the menu button, irreversible black screen (sound still there). Only the game screen is black, Steam VR/WMR menus can still popup normally. RTX 3080/HP Reverb G2

I was hoping a fix would be here because i've been running into this exact issue. It's either shaking off a walker or pulling a gun out too quickly, the screen goes blank, i can hear the game still running and actions being made, but it just does NOT come back :/ firmware is up to date and reinstalling the game now to see if it helps :(

Did not fix for me unfortunately, I still get random black screens even playing at 50% volume and using the firmware update.

Update on this: reinstalling the game then verifying just to make sure all files were there fixed my issue. that's like the first step of troubleshooting so i'm sure others here have already tried and it didn't help them :/

Play on a hp reverb g2 and got the same tryed Verify integrity game files and Run the game as an administrator

Steam\steamapps\common\TWDSaintsAndSinners and run TWD as adminstrator

Didn't change anything for me.

Guys I'll write a negative review on the store, mentioning this problem. I am willing to turn it to positive once the problem is solved, but until then I am desperate to get the devs' attention.
