Arms too long
I just got the game recently, but I can't seem to find any settings to help the fact that my arms are like a frickin velociraptor, lol. When I extend them fully they are bent with the elbows facing downward. I have tried messing with the height settings but no matter how to or short, sitting or standing, my arms are still way too long. It's a little too distracting for me to enjoy the game. If someone knows a fix that would be awesome, thanks.

Edit: I don't want to sound like I'm putting down the game. After playing for a few hours, it is definitely fun and I like some of the mechanics. I have started to ignore the arms a bit, but they are still feel a bit wonky since they are really long for me still.

I feel the same way. They look way too long and destroyes the immersion.

They also move like rubber and moving doesn't feel as responsive as other games, especially with gunplay. Wanna pull your elbow in and aim real quick? Good cuz your arm flopped around and caused you to miss

You guys must have those janky facebook HMD's that never calibrate correctly.

On an Index, it plays perfectly. My arms are exactly where they should be.

I'm running an Index.

Vive here, but exactly the same issue with the arms. Minor gripe, but would be nice to find a fix.

For me I think mine are too short. It's wonky opening doors because I'll fully extend my arm but he'll only open the door maybe 30% or 40% percent but when in reality with that same extension I'd open the door all the way. It's weird. My in game hands are often not in the same place as my real hands. It really kills the experience for me tbh. (Haha I am on a crappy Facebook Rift S though but still)

I think Rift S is still a pretty good headset from what I've heard. But yeah maybe that's why it's a different problem because it uses the inside out tracking instead of base station tracking.

Yeah I've experienced all of those problems too. I just started trying to overlook them so I could play the game. The game is really fun so hopefully they will fix the problem for a lot of people so more people could enjoy it. I like the whole crafting gameplay loop and the exploring and looting aspect of the game. But using guns is kinda difficult when the arms are not lined up.

I just got the game, and was immediately annoyed by the long arms and delayed response to inputs. I'm also playing on Index.

Really glad to hear that I'm not alone in this dislike for the delayed input response/weight. Hopefully the devs will make an option to lighten it up or something because there seems to be a good chunk of us who have an issue with this.

The developer know this from February when I search, and as they said they got it on the list,I got problems with long Hands on index too it’s annoying and shame for a game that so many recommend not being fixed yet on the best headset that exist till this point, five months had passed, it’s so hard to fix it?

Hello, still no fix for this already ?

I beat the game and had ZERO issues on a rift s. I was new to VR at that point idk if that had something to do with me not noticing it. But i've never had any immersion breaking bugs in the game.
