what are your specs?
do you have your headset plugged into your motherboard isntead of your GPU?
a little more info is always helpful, if you aren't certain of your specs you can find them on steam via help --> system information.
Sure thing:
Windows 10 64bit
Geforce GTX 980
16326mb Ram
Intel i7-4790K - 4ghz
Definitely not plugged into the motherboard.
well it was a shot in the dark anyways, I haven't encountered any problems myself yet so all I can do is guess, but at least we know its not a hardware specific issue now.
however since you are on the lower side of specs it might be the ASW feature kicking in? again, total shot in the dark
2.Is your anti-virus downloading/running during play interrupting the game?
3. Have you tried playing with the non-Beta version of Oculus drivers?
4. Try double checking your Rift S connection to make sure all is secure. Swap USB connector to another one.
I have a feeling its the ASW that was mentioned earlier. I've dropped it down to 45FPS but still get a bit of lag when attacking a zombie from time to time. I'll try turning it off totally and see what happens. But to answer your questions.
1) Only does it in certain areas and at random times. Not through the whole game.
2) No, turned it off to test.
3) Yes, using them at the moment.
4) Connection seems fine but I'll try another port.
