Late Game Bug w Georgia/JB

I'm at the part you get the final pump and have to side either with JB or Georgia. I want to side with JB (since Georgia is trying to force my hand while I wanted to stay out of it screw her) but when I do, we can take her and her thugs down except she's bugged, flat on the floor but still shooting and she can kill me and JB in this state. I can kill her with a melee weapon or something, I cut off her head, but the mission info doesn't update, it still writes Kill JB or Kill Georgia and her thugs (and yes I went around the back to also kill her 2nd group of thugs, then roamed the map to see if any others are anywhere and found nobody, I also made sure to make it permanent for everybody that became/could become a zombie too, no dice). I've tried this several times restarting the whole map/session/game and it's always the same. The mission info did update that one time she managed to kill JB while in that undead state but, come on. Should I just side with Georgia to get it over with or is a fix available already/soon? Should I reload an older save or is it a waste of time/effort?

Same thing last night. Reset mission 3 times and even tried to race JB down the stairs as reckon its when he shoots Georgia for some reason? IDK is sucky as has been absolutely #IAMRICKGRIMES up to this point.

Same problem. Beheaded her and everything and nothing happens. I'm to afraid to just leave because I think I might bug the rest of the game and i''ll have to restart.

Nah, it doesn't matter if you kill her or JB does, it still happens. I even blew them all up pre-setting a gas canister there and running down before JB after the talk and the same thing happened. I'll try rolling with Georgia then, I can go JB the next play after they fix this I guess.

Hey there, unfortunately this is a known issue we're working on. Loading an older save may prevent this from happening, but some users have just had it happen over again. We'll hopefully have this sorted soon.

Thanks Coconutcoo. I progressed in the game by killing JB, it's not so bad to have The Tower not eager to murder me after all, I'll do a Georgia killing playthrough some time later.

But can mods please inform when they move a post? The main discussion board is full of issues and bugs yet only some posts get moved here in the bugs section and as a result it seems they have less visibility and community discussion and then you get even more duplicate threads etc.

Either move all threads to other sections if fitting so people learn to visit the other sections when they see their posts or posts they visited got moved too or don't move any so people can discuss.

I've blocked some moderator here, forget his name, he was weird in private, so if he responds to this request I won't see it, but hopefully he'll start doing the right thing in public (this post was moved before I blocked him and I got no notification about it) regardless of his answer.

Hey there, all posts that are clearly a bug rather than a gameplay issue should get moved here, but there are cases where the post is largely discussion rather than a bug report, where we leave it and would expect the OP to post his bug into this board separately.

We don't post every time we move a thread because it's just unnecessary spam and time spent on our part - just like this case, your issue is a known bug, so only a dev or myself need to see it.
I appreciate this generates slightly more threads, but each new user is added to the ticket and tickets with more affected users are likely to be looked at faster.

Part of the solution involves users posting their threads into the correct location, which hopefully by moving everything that is clearly a bug report, we can encourage.

I would also recommend reviewing the Steam Community R&G's (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4045-USHJ-3810) general rules, your final comment comes across as rather hostile towards a moderator that is just enforcing the rules.

Same problem here.

Once you shoot georgia, he stays lying down, she look dead, even blood on her head, but the gun is still attached to her hand, and every few seconds she shootd some rounds to JB or you.

She slides while lying down, and she recharges the weapon.

I am playing this in 2023 and have the same damn bug. On Oculus standalone version. They don't care at this point. :(
