Weapon caches announced on radio channel

I feel really stupid asking this but i can't seem to find an answer anywhere... i could trawl through the bazillion youtube let's plays but i really don't want to spoil any story.

Anyway, i've got so far into the game and can now listen to radio channel 47 i think it was and you get hints to what part of town has loot caches etc to go grab.. but for the life of me i cannot find not ******* one of them, i don't really know what i'm looking for, i wandered around the very first area you can go to which only has the big blue house and i went up and down every street, cleared the blue house and could not find this cache anywhere which supposedly had 2 days left on the map thing. What am i doing wrong here?

I can't find any forum post or youtube video which does a simple run to one of these places and shows where and what they look like.

Help please, anyone?

I walk up to a Food loot box cache. It is not always in that spot but that is what you are looking for. They can be in any location on the area that they are listed on, even in a completely random spot like behind a car in a corner or something.

they look like this, there is less in them on day 2 even less on day 3, i think they can spawn in different locations on the map, Happy hunnting
(this was a med cache but same thing)

Why my channel 47 still remain silent?
Did I operate radio in wrong way?
I already finished the game and got AR416 schematic.

They can spawn inside of houses and outside you just have to look everywhere

I have the same issue. I've reported it, hopefully it gets fixed in the next patch
