Average game length?

Am I better off getting while on sale? I get the impression it's rather short and for $56 that's not too good for a full release if its not lengthy enough

Hi there, that's a little dependant on you, if you rush through only the main story and never get caught out or die, you may find it to be anywhere from 8-12 hours. If you're interested in the other aspects of the game such as looting, exploring, finding unique ways to do missions, upgrading your items etc then you can easily find yourself with 30+ hours of gameplay.

I really hope so. I love this game so much im actually afraid of finishing it and having nothing left to do.

I believe there are plans for more content and DLCs given how well the game has been received, however it is only a week old so said new content will take some time.

The thing about this game is it is fun to actually play. It has high replayability as far as its just fun to see how long you can survive for in the game, constantly testing your ability to survive.

Slicing, stabbing, shooting, knife throwing, decapitation, its all fun.

im 14 hours in and not completed the game yet, but i do take lots of days off the missions to gather supplies and upgrade the work benches ect.
The game is fun i love looking for loot and in no hurry to rush the story (the story is great tho).
the only thing i would want is more side quests (that go on multiple maps ;) ).

Allowing for the game to be modded will be smart for the long term. I'm enjoying the game quite a bit and the frame is there to be added onto.
