How do you finish climbing ladders?
Got to the first ladder I found by crouching inside a garage space and couldn't figure out at all how to get off at the top. I climb to the highest point, if I let go I drop down and hurt myself. Try to grab onto the ledges, still fall through them. Try to do the push up climb thing they show you in the tutorial, but I can't get 2 hands to do it at the same time since as soon as I let go of the hand on the ladder, I fall.

Tried this like 3 lives in a row before just giving up, doesn't feel very intuitive at all unless I'm missing something.

You have to kind of fling yourself up when you are at the top. It is not physics based like bones works so a scripted lifting action happened when you hold down both triggers and fling yourself over a ledge or ladder.

What about like, a window, the first mansion when I climb up the drainpipe you end up like next to the window, how do you go from the pipe, to ledge, to window, without falling? I managed it once somehow, just wanna know the correct procedure so I don't die over it.

Like, climbing up the pipe, fine. shimming across the ledge hand over hand, fine. but once I'm at the window, he basically grabs the side of it and I cant make him just step forward into the window, he just clings to the side of the window... am I supposed to somehow grab the bottom of the window and launch up wth that jump/launch motion control movement?

I grab the window frame with my hands and then pull myself through it. That can be done from the sides or the bottom.

I normally lean out of the window and grab the rain pipe if i want to go down. When climbing up, fling yourself upwards. Works for me.

You can rotate yourself into the window when you are next to it with the right analog stick. Works very well.
