I figured out how to mod the game a bit but I could use some help.
So, I figured out how to get into the game files and edit how many items you have but I could use some help decoding what the rest of the stuff is.

> Go to your %appdata% folder and then go back one folder.
> Open up "Local"
> Open up "TWD"
> Open up "Saved"
> Then "SaveGames"
> Then Profile0

I figured out the number of items is saved in Save5.sav for me. If you load that file into a save editor like saveeditonline.com it will give you a HUGE list of things and most just say "quantity x". It also appears we could edit our stamina and health too. But I haven't tested that yet.

I figured out that "quantity 9" represents your .30 caliber ammo. You can edit that to whatever you want. I had 21 before I edited and then changed it to 50. When I replaced the file, I loaded up the game and had 50.

I *think* "quantity 10" is bindings and "quantity 18" is nuts and bolts, but I haven't tested those yet.

If anyone can help me learn more, that would be amazing. Maybe we can work together and come up with some fun ways to toy with the game through this.

I thought this at first too. The most recent save file is the one you want to edit. The game saves to save0, then save1, and then save2 and so on and will overwrite the oldest save. There are 5 save slots.

I mapped out a few by simply setting the quantity to its own value. For example I set quantity 91: (91), but it was all useless, nothing matches anymore.
pistol frames 55
wood scraps 43
nuts and bolts 45
workable metal 39
sharp object 38
gun powder 44
bindings 40
adhesives 41
shafts 50
anti septics 48
proteins 51
fiber 42
water 47
suger 46
spice 49
revolver bullets 91

Unfortunately it doesn't appear as though you can map items to their respective quantity indexes. Quantities appear to change each save. In 1 save, quantity 91 was my revolver bullets, and then it changed. My latest save has quantity 91: (1) which I know is not true, i have like 21 revolver bullets. There must be additional code that determines which item is what that is not visible in the online save editor.

Not really bothered about stuff, but i`d like to remove that Audio speech of my character and audio speech of every note I read, etc. Looking in the ini settings for that...

Shoot. I hope someone smarter is able to figure this out. I'm going to keep messing around with stuff to see if I can figure anything out.

I love playing through games the way they were made at first, but then being able to go back and play without any limitations is always my favorite thing to do.

Tried the stamina, set it to 5000 instead of 100. It removed the little line on the slider as if it were over the normal max, but as soon as I started running it went back to normal.

For durability, looks like you can change damaged things back to repaired but the overall durability I can't seem to increase. You can definitely add items, but all I want is to buff stamina really.
