Two handed weapons
For a bit of background I am playing on a Vive I have had for about 3 years and I also have 100+ hours into Blade and Sorcery. I say this because I have had to figure out things like weapon 'weights' in other games such as B&S, and when you learn how to properly handle the virtual weights it can be an immersive and fun experience.
My point is that in Saints and Sinners using a two handed weapon there seems to be no "sweet spot" of the range of motion and speed that you need to swing to reliably land fatal blows. I have tried changing my technique as much as possible to work with the system and still can not find a way that makes two handed melee viable. What I would think would be a solid blow glances off or makes a soft thud when I hit a zombie with an ax blade. Horizontal swipes are impossible.
Personally, the two handed weapons (guns included) feel like I am holding a pool noodle / rain stick hybrid that flops about. I feel infinitely safer in a one on one with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spoon in my hand. Maybe it's because I am not playing from the OPTIMAL seated position because I bought VR to move my body in games but that's a whole other complaint. What do you guys think? Am I the only one feeling like this?

It took a little bit of getting used to but I always hit the sweet spot now.
I have to really use both hands and really imagine the motions of swinging an axe. Works for me.
