I like the whole backpack/holster thing AND how certain objects have `weight`.

Definitely the dual wielded weapons. Nailing that perfect swing gives me that *meaty chuckle*

The setting. Would make a good open world game.

The zombies look great.

I am a handgun and shiv sort of guy, but it's always good to have a good two-hander for when you want to get serious.

My favorite feature is the UI. It feels so intuitive, I want it to become the gold standard for VR open world games. Backpack for loot, journal on chest for tab menu, and the ability to straight up use your junk loot as low quality backup weapons.

I also had a "What? Really? That's so cool!" moment when I realized I had to physically hand in quest items to NPCs, not just from my backpack, but from my actual journal, which in like 99% of other games, even non VR games, would be delegated as merely a quest progress and note review screen.

Some people don't like this, but I also like the watch based time limit. I think it needs to let you have like, 25% more time, but overall, it's a very "Walking dead" esque tension inducing feature. People hated the time limit in Dead Rising back in the day but over the years people came to appreciate its value, I think the same will happen here.

I dig the general aesthetic of the game. There are some small, neat design choices here and there like the physicality in quest-related stuff. The head stabbing has been implemented really well, I like that I actually have to yank the shiv, screwdriver or other implement out of the zombie's skull to get it out. Gives it that weighty feel.

throwing a piece of junk to distract the undead while i stealthily slip by. I find stealth horror to be the most convincing, since it's easy to handwave away dumb AI as being braindead zombies or monsters, so it never feels "cheap" exploiting them
