Why are the pistols so big?
Everything else seems normal but when I'm holding a pistol, like the one at the tutorial for instance, the gun and my hands like twice the size

Can agree that it does appear larger compared to a game like Boneworks.

Idk if this was made to fit the style and look of the game or was more of a camera being closer to the arms.

Idk if it's the style, most of the objects seem fine scale wise, but some of the bodies laying around the grave yard are random sizes I noticed. Like that corpse you pull a weapon out of it's head after crouching through a spot before the first Walker encounter looks weirdly small compared to the one hanging off the ledge you climb into right after
Could be because they think small (which is how most pistols are) don`t look `cool` enough to players in a game. Big = deadly mantra. I dunno. It`s just I`ve seen some game companies do silly things with real-world guns because they don`t look dramatic enough.

Bigger guns means easier interaction without fear of collisions between controllers. it's an ease-of-use decision.

I've never once had an issue like that in all the shooters I play, I highly doubt that's the reason, unless people are grabbing the bottom of the gun to two hand it at the speed of a fast ball pitch, which I also doubt. It's a fairly easy and uncomplicated maneuver that doesn't require and force or fast movement, at least enough to damage controllers.
It can't be ease of use as I have more difficulty using guns in this game than I do in games like Pavlov, H3VR and onward
And I hate the clunky feel of the reloading.
Once you experience the H3VR...no game can satisfied you anymore:rcry:
