Consumables Breaking/Bugging

Just about an hour or two into the game and I've ran into an issue where consumables will just fail to work. Instead of drinking/eating what I have to my mouth, the activation sound breaks, loudly playing nonstop, and the item's use bar does't move.

has anyone else had this issue and therefore know a fix? Best I can do is wait around a bit and hope the consumable just starts working on its own. (This goes for the drink needed to wait til morning too)

This happened to me the first time I played the tutorial but hasn't happened since I reloaded the game.

i experienced the same when i was on my feet. when i set down, the consumable was being used

It happens on and off, no matter if I'm sitting down or standing up. Sometimes using a bandage fixes it and sometimes it doesn't. What is a sure fire way to fix it is to simply wait and keep trying until it works.. which can get really boring or really dangerous depending on where you are when the bug takes affect.

This has happened to me constantly when trying to restore stamina and sleep at night, so I had to reload previous saves to try and get it to work.

This is a odd issue for me it happens when i break my guardian boundary. All you need to do is pause the game and unpause and itll be fixed. At least it does for me. (win10, Rift/S)

Happened to me too! I just opened the pause menu, closed it, and then consumables worked fine again.
