How do I reload the first revolver you get?

Title. Just arrived at the bus, found some ammo and a revolver, but I can't seem to reload. How do I reload? I want to be all ready before I step an inch outside my little safe zone.

I'm scared.

look down, there should be an icon to pull out ammo.
and that revolver is probably already loaded

Thanks for your answer. When I look down I see 12 ammo, but no prompt to take them out and load the gun with them. Also, it's not pre-loaded.

The first gun from the Bus is pre-loaded (look down the barrel), When you shoot and look at the drum you will see a drum icon then press the trigger from your off-hand and the drum will open, then just grab the ammo from the pouch and put it in, closing the drum is wild-west stil by swinging the gun with you wrist.

Thanks, yeah I took a shot and realised it was loaded!

Worth noting is that it seems to register the bullet better if you angle it to fit the chamber. Maybe it was just what I felt in the heat of the moment so it might not be accurate. Try it and see if it seems that way for you.

Thanks for this. I just played the game for the first time, and spent a lot of time thoroughly going through the first map. Then I died when I wanted to exit because I could not figure out how to reload the revolver. It let me pick up 1 bullet from my inventory and insert it, but after that the circle around the ammo compartment didn't appear.

I feel like the tutorial should have covered this. The 9mm gun was pretty intuitive, but the revolver was not.
