Despite all of the moans towards Ubisoft, I still mostly enjoy Anno 1800, but the online side with friends is limited and not what we thought it might be at all, and your DRM means none of us can really use your lovely games on our portable gaming devices or Linux distros in general :squirtmeh:

I have been playing Ubisoft games since day one (I'm old) and always enjoy them, but Uplay (or whatever you call it 'currently') is boring to use, not even remotely close to what Valve offer, but the biggest issue, your games are designed more for dull games console players and not desktop (PC) users. Dumbing down your games, lowering the quality to favour them more and not optimised for us desktop users is... well... i do not need to explain, as you know the hate coming from many.

Star Wars Outlaws is a good game (not great), because of the above and that's just to name one game. Anywho, I know this feed has nothing to do with that team, but just felt like saying 'something', as it's all rather sad to me and can only see it getting worse for Ubisoft overall each year that passes and the issues not being addressed :f2_sad:

...I'm one of the few that also loved the original Watch_Dogs (PC only of course) :8bitheart:

End of an Era indeed!! Thank you so much for making and supporting yet another fantastic game. I've spent many many enjoyable hours with 1800 and intend to spend many more. Thanks for this farewell. Wishing you all the best and can't wait for Anno 117!!

Edit: Should say, I don't have many hours on Steam because I bought the game twice! Firstly on Epic then here. Actually, 3 times because I then bought it for my husband as a pressie. He loves it too.

Anno 1800 was my first dive into the anno series. I’ve enjoyed it for the last 3 years and I can’t wait to see what Pax Romana brings for us next.

This guy is spitting facts, if I were to write a comment this is exactly what I would've wrote especially liking Watch_Dogs bit.

Yo also, Do something about the Denuvo thing, because I'm always worried what would happen to the game I love so much if that ♥♥♥♥ was to go down you know? Can't play my single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ player game.
