How often can u build monuments?

Hi guys,


how often can i build monuments like the world exhibition, the palace and the research institute?

i assume i can build as many zoos and gardens as i want.

can i have a world exhibition/palace/research institute in the old world and cape trelawny?

One per island/region.
Palace is one per profile.

Only one palace can be built, but you can build the local government annex building on all the rest of the islands.
World Fairs can be built on any Old World and Cape Trelawney islands.
The research institute can only be built once. I know it can be built on Cape Trelawney - not sure about Old World (I've always build it on CT due to amount of space needed for scholars houses - no other region though.)

The research institute can be built in the Old World too. You can also place the scholars on different islands. They don't have to live near the research institute.

Now I did not know that and frankly never tried, that's what happens when one assumes.
