I can't seem to get this achievement, box boy disappears after I shoot him a couple of times. Anybody have the same problem or it works for you?

That happened to me too, several times in fact, I still don't have the achievement but it seems to work if you only use the sniper rifle and wait a decent amount of time between shots

Same. Tried using the sniper. Often I make it through 2 or 3 shots, but never made it to the 5th. Anyone know a solution?

At this point, I'm pretty sure there isn't one, unless we're counting SAM.

Me too! After looking for a while I've finally founded the box, but is super frustrating trying to guide it to the strawberry and fail several times. I tried to shoot while the box is in the air yet, but doesn't seem to work either.

The strange thing is there are people who actualy have earned this achievement, so, I don't sure if it is really a bug or something we're doing wrong.

I've managed to get it by playing in multiplayer. I don't know if there's a problem with the box's location depending on if it's managed locally or by server... But yeah - maybe you'll have more luck by trying it in multi.

Also, as The Milkman said - I had more luck shooting it from up close with a sniper rifle, than trying from farther on.

There's no doubt that it's a bug. Bear in mind that some bugs only affect people with certain hardware components, or operating systems, or confguration settings, which can make testing and patching difficult for the devs.

Yeah, i know now. I've seen a video in youtube getting this achievement and it was simple, nothing strange or dissapearing.
Probably is like you said flocc, I'm playing in a laptop now so there is a big chance this is a hardware problem.

Anyways, I just collected the achievement. In my case i had to shoot far away as i could and without the laser's zoom. I did it playing multiplayer like sunsethaste said!

Pretty annoying achievement.

We did it in 2 player coop and it disappeared sometimes for one of us. So the best bet is to do it in coop and hope it never disappears for all.

I know this is old, but has anyone discovered a solution to this? It's really very frustrating, I can never get it more than halfway without it dissapearing.

I keep hoping it will get fixed. Might have to get the steam achievements manager on it. I dont think it's cheating if it is b0rked.

That's what I did. I doubt it'll ever be fixed, considering that the game is several years old and the dev has moved on to other games.

Do it on multiplayer, I got it with a friend the other day. Only one person in a lobby has to get it to the strawberry.
