You really thing jumping prop to prop with people with Gatling guns, grappling hooks, traps, sniper rifles and more run speed than you have fly speed is a good idea? there's only so much jumping you can do before you get smashed... pause by the hunter team.
There is literally an Haunt to counter it.
Also throwing yourself around as a prop leaves no trail.
If you don't move around you don't leave a trail. Legit the counter to the pathfinder is standing still or if you have to move flinging yourself large distances/using spirit to move.
Pathfinder only shows tracks and not ectoplasm. If you don't move you don't leave tracks.
Yes you killed people who moved for no reason. The counter is not to move. If you move at all it leaves the tracks.
You might have missed the part where this is a team game. You are not supposed to counter everything by yourself.
If you are alive as a prop, one of your dead mates can haunt.
In addition, there are multiple ways to move so that your trail is interrupted. Jumping and parkouring in different areas, flinging yourself long distances, switching props.
