I harbour the same concerns , but not for early on. I think as long as it runs well it will do well for a month or two.
If I can get a month of casual lels out of $20 Im personally happy.
I would suspect a reasonable release rate of content will be required to keep the population alive.
seeing as most "spooky themed" games in that window are quickly abandoned after making a quick buck.
and since coffestain is well known for publishing niche games for decent sized player bases i would call this a safe purchase.
