Any word from the developer?

Has anyone heard to seen anything from the developer? I know they were working on overhauling the game, but we haven't had an update in almost a year.

As far as I'm aware it's been radio silence since 2021. Just have to hope it hasn't been abandoned.

He was pretty unequivocal about circling back to developing it further though, so I bet he just got busy for a bit!

How long do people expect a developer to continue to work on a 3 dollar game? It's a pretty feature rich experience especially for 3 dollars.

He DID say he would put out a last big update no matter if it was profitable, around a year ago. But... hes nowhere to be seen.

He was last seen doing NFT and crypto ♥♥♥♥, so there is a big chance he just got bankrupt and can't afford to continue on the 3 dollar game...

This was one of my suprise games 2021, it really hooked me.
Simple and awesome twist on snake.

I really hope he does something more with it or that some good alternative would pop up.

Well an update just dropped. Doesn't look like it's the big one, but I guess that means he's still out there.

I mean the dev basicaly is re-writing the whole game and i assume its only a hobby-project anyway so ... if it takes 9 months or more since the announcement ... i think its still fine,
The game so far as it is .... is completely playable and enjoyable.
But i believe there is still being worked on!
And yes a 2 mb update just dropped^^

but also at least we got a 2mb update so that's good...

the way i see it though, even though NFTs are often sh*tty scams, as long as I'm not falling for it, I'm good. I don't mind to continue playing this game regardless of what the developer does because it's too late for a refund anyways but more than that, the developer's life choices don't harm me personally in any way, unless it's implemented in the game.

I react the same way if some developer of games I like turn out to be sexual harassers (Night in the Woods, West of Loathing) or Drug Addicts. their choices don't harm me. I don't believe in a boycott mentality especially for games which isn't really an ongoing-support situation from the clients' side, unlike restaurants.

Update today was just the removal of the discord's link from the game because the server was hacked and nuked.
