Is it 'Snickrix'? Is it 'Snirks' ? Or is the S silent?

Has anyone heard to seen anything from the developer? I know they were working on overhauling the game, but we haven't had an update in almost a year.

Are there any other games, no matter what platform, like SNKRX out there? I know "Brotato", but that is not 'snaky' enough for me. The game where people are walking in a behind each other, I forgot the name, didn't run on my computer. I've got "Magic Survival" (android playStore) and its most known clone, "Vampire Survivors" (here) but here you can apply the same critics. I'm searching for a rouquelike game where you control a snake. Are there any?...

Totally understand the concept of a game being finished in terms of content -- power to the dev for canceling the rewrite. But, will SNKRX be maintained (bugs squashed, advances in OS taken into account, etc.)? What about balance tweaks and minor QoL additions? It's one thing not to rewrite, it's another to abandon altogether......

We haven't heard anything in a while and I'd love to see what's happening!
