Mist Survival

Worth buying?
Game looks really cool but is it worth buying now on EA or worth waiting until full release? I’m not going to be giving feedback but if it is nearly feature complete I don’t mind bugs. Also, when is full release planned?

depends, for me, was worth buying.
game still very much in development.
release time. not sure atm, game only has one developer that i know of. so could take several more years.

but ill take from the store page.
Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

if your not excited for it in its current state. then i would say don't buy.
if your not, put it on your Wishlist and follow and wait for release.

For 6,74 Euro I'd say yes, just don't ever expect this to be a complete & working game.

The mechanics are fun, there's a nice map, the basic mechanics work, yes the extended mechanics are all broken, but the basics are there and you can build a nice base etc.

And who knows what surprises await us in the future.

I bought this game 7 years ago, have given up on it several times and every so many years there's still that challenge to see how the current version is holding up.

I would say no. If I bought the game right now in its current state I would probably refund it before playing 2 hours.

Hi I had this game since it first came out, and yes I had my ups and downs with it,, But I always come back, its my labour of love game, i know its since not finished and has problems, but when a game gives you hundreds of hours game time, I would say a Hugh YES to buying it, as i still buy it again, it been hard for the dev as he on his own, but have to give him credit as he still gives us updates, and i still think its a great game. kim x

HARD NO ..:batsilo:

Not at this time ..<<

Game developer (good guy though) has decided to go AWAY from Mining ..

He forgot the games go too for ACTUAL Resources ((MINING))..
AMMO - can NOT be crafted as needed because mine is limited to just *8 NODES* in it !!

other crafting becomes limited real quick because of it as well ..

7 year ago -when game first came out (under Early Access) we had a huge mine ..

but since going to a new game engine (under a year ago) he decided to do away with what actually matters ..

I definitely got my 10 bucks worth out of it. I continue to enjoy playing and helping Rati improve his game. To each their own.

It depends on what one is desiring and willing to tolerate I suppose. For me, I've clocked over 1,600 hours and would say my ROI is superb.

Personally, I enjoy trying to find quirks in games and "unique" ways of accomplishing things. Done my time with multiplayer games and prefer solo worlds. Not to mention I am a hoarder, "loot goblin" and dabble with building; so MS works out well for my taste.

First thing I would suggest is learn how to make your own backups and restore them, then do so often. Will save you heartache in the long run. :)
