i don't know of any player who chooses the "revive" option - it's always quit and re-load.
you don't "level up" either ..
And sorry but i dont always know when i think im gonna die, in the game its dark 80 % of the time.
I mean with level up it counts the days in the game and apparently some backpack slots open in some sertain time etc.
there are maps online that will show you where the backpack upgrades are - they're fairly easy to find.
it's still better to save at regular intervals because if you do die then you can just re-load and carry on.
Having no punishment for death in a game about survival kind of defeats the purpose. Might as well just make a knife and run through the woods hacking at bears.
If your killed by bandits and it takes you a while to get back, do they not steal some of your items?
Oh, and hooked on phonix also.
No. Currently, the AI is non existant other than simple pathfinding.
BTW, it is spelled "phonics" (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/phonics). :P
