Mist Survival

Mist Survival

Loosing loot after death & console commands, fix this.
Should really put as an option to loose your loot after dying or not, its to hard otherwise and not everyone have time to sit in this game 6 h per day to level up and find loot. Im loosing ALOT and the best things i need and it takes to many hours to find the things again, especially hard if you dont even have all slots in backpack open. Also put in some console and commands since this is singleplayer game. The ones who dont want it dont have to choose it, simple.

manually save your game if you're about to go in to a situation where you think you might die.

i don't know of any player who chooses the "revive" option - it's always quit and re-load.

you don't "level up" either ..

So if everyone does this, wouldnt it be better to just take this away?
And sorry but i dont always know when i think im gonna die, in the game its dark 80 % of the time.

I mean with level up it counts the days in the game and apparently some backpack slots open in some sertain time etc.

the loot being taken was intended to teach players not to die because you got punished severly lol but as always players find a way around these things by saving regular :) and nope there is no level up yes days pass but inventory slots are increased by finding the back packs around the map :)

there are maps online that will show you where the backpack upgrades are - they're fairly easy to find.

it's still better to save at regular intervals because if you do die then you can just re-load and carry on.

the dev has said he will not remove the loot being taken upon death as he said in an interview thats on youtube players should get punished for dying in a survival game as the whole point is to survive, so sorry but the save reload option is all that we are going to have other than taking the hit for reviving :)

Honestly every survival game I can think of has you losing items on death. Heck, even minecraft does that. But the thing is, if you can get back to where you died, you'd find all your dropped items still in the area. So as long as you learn your lesson, prepare better and pay more attention, you'll be able to pick up where you left off and be just a bit more experienced for it.

Having no punishment for death in a game about survival kind of defeats the purpose. Might as well just make a knife and run through the woods hacking at bears.

When you die, all your items are dropped to the ground. You can go retrieve it. None of it will despawn.

If your killed by bandits and it takes you a while to get back, do they not steal some of your items?

No. Currently, the AI is non existant other than simple pathfinding.

Maybe, just maybe, English is not the OP's native language?

BTW, it is spelled "phonics" (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/phonics). :P
