Ryder White and Bloodbath Arena

I am one of those that purchased Dead Island way back when it was 50 or 60 bucks (Can't remember, shortly after release).

How do I aquire Ryder White and Bloodbath arena? Am I forced to re-purchase the game (GOTY Edition)? Or do I have these DLC's already automatically.

Yes you must buy GOTY... It's stupid but I'm afraid this is the only way. I also bought DI on release and would like to try Ryder's campaign but I will not buy this game again.

cant they just have upgrade to GOTY version or something geees let me purchase the DLC i want to B-U-Y it.

7.49 is nothing but if i buy the other DLC's its 6.49 however i cant sit with the extra copy of the game wtf.

I'm in the same position as the OP. Does the franchise pack version of Dead Island come with the Bloodbath Arena DLC or are they still selling the original version of the game without the DLC (despite only being only able to choose the GOTY on the store page)?

The wording sounds like it wouldn't come with Bloodbath Arena.

anybody who buys di1 from here on out gets all the previous dlc because there is only the goty edition to be had now.

the only dlc for di1 you can get separately at this point is the useless ripper mod.

it doesn't make any difference if you buy the franchise pack or di1 by itself.
the franchise pack includes all dlc for both games but di1 is goty only, either way, you get all the dlc for di1.

if you bought the standard edition and you can't find the bloodbath arena in there, then you must not have it. however, i seem to recall even after having paid for it i had to play a few levels to unlock it, my memory is fuzzy on that, it's been a long time.

i doubt they are going to upgrade all previous owners of the standard edition for free but stranger things have happened.

I bought Dead Island on Amazon 6 months ago and it said the GOTY edition was not on pc and i spent 45$ on the standard copy. im so mad at myself but i wanted a physical copy of it, thats just me i had no idea it was on steam though. but when i played the game it would skip and tear and even though it was at 60fps+ it still would skip and so i didnt play it for about 4 months, i was upset, angry, sad, and yes a little emotional. i love dead island i have it for all systems, after the 4 months passed i contacted deep silver about it because i was edgy to play it on pc, and they told me to play it on administrator and it ran flawlessly but when i saw that steam had it for 20$ for GOTY edition i was outraged, and yes sad as well. i didnt know what to do though so i just kept playing the standard edition but on steam it says its the GOTY edition so i just couldnt take it any longer i had to find the dlcs. So i tried several time to find a free download on google for the dlcs and ive gotten some viruses so i just quit. and here i am at 12:30 AM after a long day of finding out why i cant get any dlcs or anything contemplating why i even bought the game and signed up for steam. i hope someone will read this and get every one of us with this problem some help.

You have to buy the GOTY editoin because they removed the DLCs from the store

The Ryder White DLC isn't even worth a dollar. If you already have the standard edition, IMO you shouldn't waste your money on the GOTY.

Also, use isthereanydeal.com to find current sales and a sales history of a game.

I actually quite liked the Ryder White DLC, it told the story from a different perspective. The arena though, meh, couldn't really get into it, maybe it would be better for co-op.
