Question about Liberation DLC

Years ago I bought Liberation HD as a standalone game and later I bought AC3 Remastered but when buying it I was not allowed to add Liberation DLC because the game was already in my library. Now I understand that from September on the game would be unplayable. Should it be inside AC3 Remastered? I see the separate launcher for Liberation Remastered in Steam Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered folder but when clicking it, it launches the main game. Does it mean I now have no access to this DLC at all?

i also had bought the standalone then bought Odyssey which has the remastered AC3. When you launch AC3, you can choose to play AC3 OR Liberation. I just tried it and I can get into both games this way. I also noticed that Liberation now says it can't connect to the Ubisoft servers though was still allowed into the game. I actually just finished the standalone the other day and didn't get that message.
