xbox controler not working

Xbox controller not working on this game. Some of the buttons are working but not all of them. Did anyone run into this and know a fix.

This didn't work for me --- the reason is that AutoSwitchEnabled should = 0.

So here is what worked for me:
[Input]

AutoSwitchEnabled=0

If you have Windows 10, go to your "documents" find AC3 Remaster folder, open it and you will see "Assassin3Remaster" Double click it (opens with Notepad). Go to the [Input] and replace the lines that start with "SelectedInput=KeyboardMouse2" with the above directions. Then save it and close. Now I can play AC3 Remastered with my xbox controller (I can also now auto switch to keyboard if I wanted to in the game). I hope this helps

Having the same issue but to those who have it working could you also share the entire block of "DefaultBindings" from your "ini" file? Overwriting those might work...

La manette xbox one bluetooth n'est pas correctement fonctionnelle et les astuces trouvées sur le web n'améliorent rien du tout. Cette manette est pourtant parfaitement fonctionnelle avec mes autres jeux, dont bien évidemment tous les autres Assassin's Creed...
Merci de bien vouloir corriger le problème par une mise à jour rapide.

Same.... I expected so much from this game... :( It looks really good but if it doesn't work in some cases with bluetooth controller (yes even for PC ver) I rather not play it honestly. Until this is fixed....I'm out.

After allowing ubisoft to update it removed usage of xbox

I have an XBOX series controller which i use with Bluetooth and when i started the game last night i all the controls were bound to the wrong buttons and i could not change bindings from the in game controls opions.

After about an hour of troubleshooting and trying all the solutions marked in this thread i found a site that gave me a solution that worked.

What it suggested you do is put steam in big picture mode and then launch the game. Everything worked perfectly after that.
