Black screen on launch [Solution]

If you are having an issue with getting a black screen on launch, you're going to need to turn off windowed mode without launching.

To do this you will need to go to the "Assassin's Creed III Remaster" folder in your documents, then open the "Assassin3Remaster.ini" file in something like Notepad++.
Once you've opened that, you're going to want to go to line eight (very close to the top under "[Graphics_DX11]" and change the line that says "WindowMode=2" you're going to want to replace the value (2 in this case) with 1 (WindowMode=1). Then save the file, either manually or by pressing Ctrl + S, then exit the file.

Once that is done, try to launch the game If it works you may change it to windowed fullscreen AKA borderless fullscreen or you can change it to windowed. Don't change it back to fullscreen unless they release a patch that fixes this.

Ubisoft it's just the worst I couldn't play acIII cause it crashed at start up, I bought the remastered just to "fix" that issue and I got something similar...

I love Ubisoft games, I hate Ubisoft development lol. I think Ubi still has the chance to make a good AC game, but *personally* I'd like to see closer to Odyssey than Valhalla/Mirage. I LOVE viking history, but they kinda made it feel like dogballs to actually play, I can't imagine how it feels for people that played the original games from way back.
