Can't jump forwards

Hello, so I recently bought Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered and for some reason I can't jump forwards. I can jump stationary, backwards and to the sides but for some reason not forwards. If anyone can help, please tell me why.

So after a bit more playtime, I learned that it fixes itself after you finish sequence 2.

Having the exact same issue and finishing sequence 2 didn't fix it.

What kind of control are you using? Is it the Keyboard & Mouse or another kind of controller?

I have unfortunately the same problem.

Can´t jump forwards, so I can not get full synchronization nor can I finish some parts at all .
I have keyboard and mouse. I have the game on Uplay.

Can you fix it for me, please?

I was just using keyboard and mouse. Too late to help me though I got a refund.

I just bought assassin's Creed 3 on pc as well and unable to complete sequence 1. Unable to do the hold shift and press space to jump far.
This also seems to be an issue with rogue trying to complete leap of faith, it would only sometimes work. But most of the time I ignore the leap of faith and just drop down instead. Using a wired keyboard and mouse.

A workaround I just thought of is changing the key to something. I put mine as left ctrl and it works. Hope that helps everyone.

fixed it by remapping the high profile to right mouse button, now my precision mode is shift.....
