Activation Code?

So, the last STEAM sale I purchased AC Odyssey which came with AC 3 Remastered. I installed it today off STEAM and when I launched a box opens: Activate a Key I need to enter an activation code. I never received an activation code when I bought it off STEAM. Any ideas?

Since there is no way to contact Steam, I guess I will never get the activation code. I could request a refund, but that would be a refund for Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gold - which is where AC 3 came with.

Update for everyone! You need to run Odyssey at least once, to activate AC3 remastered with uplay. Hope that helps

To resolve this, please launch Odyssey, then AC3R. After doing this once, the Remaster will be bound to Odyssey and it will no longer ask you for a key.

That is great to know. Thanks for that tip. I wanted to play AC III first before I play Origins and Odyssey, but I will load and run Odyssey and then go back to AC III. That is good to know and I'm sure others will benefit from that tip.

Couldn't have this anywhere sensible for someone to see or better yet have just given the game be possible to play on it's own? Maybe so I don't have to come back from a job I want to die at, see my garbage internet has finally finished downloading the game I decided to play first, only for me to find out it was 100% pointless to go through that process and have my one day off out of the week tomorrow completely without being able to play EITHER game I paid for? All because, low and behold, I have to go through an even bigger download just to have a chance to play the earlier game?! Absolute genius in it's purest form. I'm sure this saved you MILLIONS in revenue from people definitely NOT pirating your games that are broken half the time anyway. It doesn't even have to be common sense. Just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ make some.

too right my friend, just because NOBODY bothered to actually include that sort of information somewhere. Another issue in case someone is wondering, is that with the Ultimate version of Assassins Creed Odyssey you get Liberation HD as well. If you're looking for Liberation in your steam library you won't find it there guys. You have to:

1. Install the 100GB of Odyssey
2. Start the Odyssey game so that the season pass is bound to your account
3. Download the 30GB of AC 3 Remastered
4. Launch AC 3, and Liberation HD is intergrated into AC3 Remastered.

and yes, I am not high, this is actually what you need to go through to play the games you've paid.

In order to launch Liberation, you need to right click on AC3 and then select whether you want to start AC3 or AC Liberation.,.

^this. also, I have slow internet, so I downloaded the smaller game first. It literally took two weeks.

NOW I find out in order to play it I have to wait 3-4 weeks for the bigger game to download.

Ubisoft is GARBAGE.

... great, I have 150gb left on my drive and this solution needing to have both installed, couldn't just give out a code with purchase like AC2 does

This is a RIDICULOUS solution. I am lucky to have an A+ internet connection, but having to DL an entire game of 100 Gb to play ANOTHER game is ridiculous.
