Where can I find the activation code for the game?

If I go to the game in my steam library and click on manage, it won't show me a CD keys option. I didn't buy the game with the Assassins Creed Odyssey Season Pass so I can't just run Odyssey in order to activate AC 3 like I read it somewhere else. Did I waste my money? Please help :(

Try contacting Ubisoft support, there are always problems like this with their games on Steam.

You have to install Ubisoft Connect and run it before the game.

CD keys haven't been given out in years.

I know, I installed it already and created an account but when starting the game Ubisoft Connect asks me for the activation code.

None of these have been helpful. AC3 refuses to load without an activation code, which is non-existent, apparently. I've hated Ubisoft for many years, but they make such damn good games?
My point being I know the launcher, and use it on other AC and other Ubi titles. But AC3-re refuses to load, no matter what. And yeah, I've done a clean install, disabled my firewall and vpn, ran as admin, and as a virtual Win 98 box, yada yada. Nothing is working.

Any suggestioons?

There is a fix, but you're not gonna like it. You NEED AC Odyssey's Season Pass for III Remastered to even work. Because III Remastered was bundled with Odyssey's season pass, it shares the exact same activation code as the pass itself, Something that was not changed when III Remastered was released separately. However, III does not offer you the code. You NEED to have Odyssey's Season Pass brought and activated for III Remastered to even work.

You are right. I didn't like it, but you're correct. Once I uninstalled Forza 5 to make room, and installed AC Odyssey Ultimate AND AC3, 3 ran fine. It's an annoying fix, I shouldn't have to devote 250 gb to a 40 hour game, but, it works, so thanks.

I was going to ask here the same question and I read before the Odissey fix, I don't even have Odissey (I would have to check but I think not and buying another game for the code is...you know)

Anyway, I canceled the window activation messages and re-rean the game from steam and I could play the game normall, I don't know if it was because Connect "re-cognized" my steam key automatically or because I went to the DLC section and it was something related to DLC activation and I clicked there before, but it seems it does not require havving AC Odissey if you just bought the III remastered.
