Still no Steam achievements?

Any idea why this particular game didn't get Steam achievements along with the others?
It feels odd that they would add achievements to Revelations - released back in 2011 - but not to the remastered version of III (originally released in 2012)...?

Revelations, Black Flag, Unity and Syndicate all got their achievements, but a game that was released after all of them for some reason didn't lol

I didn't expect them to release the achievement for old games likes Revelations, yet they did.
But for some reason, this remaster of III - which is much newer - doesn't get anything...

The holidays are long this year and they're likely not even in the offices until some time in January. Then we'll likely see the promised FC3 and FC4 achievements appear and perhaps somewhere else, who knows.

Skipping the remastered III is indeed a bit of an anomaly but hopefully they'll come around and add them soon enough.

I've been wondering the same. I sent an email to them recently to ask whether AC3 Steam achievements were on the cards at all, they replied with the generic spiel of 'we'll pass your comments on'. I guess we'll have to wait and see

It really is very odd for the Remastered version of III to not get them.

Yeah I'd imagine they'll get back into adding Steam achievements to more games either this coming week, or shortly thereafter. They only returned to work on January 2, which left only two working days until the weekend, barely enough time to get back into things really.

Please Ubisoft, I need all AC games to have achievements

Assassin's Creed Shadows is a big problem for Ubisoft. I really hope that Assassin's Creed III (2012 and 2019), Assassin's Creed Rogue, Assasin's Creed Liberation, Assassin's Creed Chronicles, Watch Dogs1,2 and Legion and Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 have achievements. But this problem that Ubisoft has with AC Shadows is terrible.
