AC1 and AC2 not having achievements is ok, but why not this?

I just finished Revelations which DID have achievements, picture my surprise when the following game in the series does not. I get the AC1 and AC2 not having them, games are too old, its not even worth it. But this game is rather playable.... it should have them, especially after the PREVIOUS one did....

AC1 on console didn't have achievements, but when it became mandatory for games on PlayStation (maybe also Xbox) to have achievements, AC2 was upgraded. They didn't do it on PC at the time.

AC1 on the 360 launched with achievements iirc. PS3 never got them however.
