then what did u do wrong
i looked at your games assassin's creed odyssey has no time played on it in your list
if u ran ac3 before u ran odyssey this is why your having the problem
you will have to go in to your files and delete all of the files for both games from steam and ubisoft connect and then reinstall the games
and open odyssey first
hope this helps you

have you tried though the steam library or the ubisoft launcher to launch the game.
often with games from steam that use a different launcher the short cuts have problems

As a good rule of thumb, never install Steam, Ubi$oft Connect[ubisoftconnect.com], EA (Cr)App or any other game launcher/store into your Windows OS' (Operating System's) "write protected" folders such as: "C:\Program Files (x86)\...", "C:\Program Files\...", etc. etc. and simply because those generally prevent the game's from self-updating your progress throughout the game and/or most of the game's updates/patches. :winter2019happybulb:

I've been using a "C:\Games\..." folder for that purpose, amongst installing other games back from my CD-DVD days, for over 20 years now and it never caused me any issues similar to those that you're reporting in these threads now. :baa:

I have all of them installed in their default places and not even one problem with them updating.
Steam automatically sets full access rights for the current user to its folder. Dunno about others but they probably use their services with admin rights to update games.
