Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered in 2024.
Good evening everyone,

I have been eyeballing this game for a while now, though I have been hesitant to purchase it due to the majority of AC fans calling it trash.....though it appears to have a cult following.

Is this game worth purchasing despite everything that die-hard Assassin's Creed fans may say about it?

I played this game when it first came out on console and I love it. The setting was really fun as I am an American so seeing parts of the Revolutionary War were cool.
I see it went on sale for 10 bucks and I am thinking about getting it just for nostalgia.

I see. Thanks for your thoughts on this game, though from what I have heard the Steam version of Assassin's Creed 3 is supposedly broken.

The AC III - Remaster is improved upon the game engine part when compared with the original AC III and it also comes bundled with the remaster of AC: Liberation - HD (which already was a port from the Vita consoles into PC). Thus far, I've barely touched it, tbh, but the AC: Liberation - Remaster has an improved AI (for ex., Shooters AI mimics the higher eye sight and range that AC IV: Black Flag), a more easy to control character makes it a definite plus when comparing.

Although the AC III - Remaster doesn't improve much upon the parkour when inside villages/cities and despite being more enticing to play, many previous bugs were left unironed.
Again, I still haven't played AC III - Remaster for too long sessions of time and despite it being slightly better in overall compared to the initial release I'd only acquire it if didn't had the original release. To be bluntly frank I still need to play it into reaching the higher difficulty memories to see if the improved parkour suffices and doesn't make go tauntrum like the original did.

(I.e., I did acquired this game simply because it was on sale and my original AC III was offered by Ubi$oft for free a few years back around early december or so.)
