Refund bad steam version and buy it on Uplay. Ubi and steam doesnot like eachother.

Btw, dont buy it in my opinion. I recieved it for free with a Gold edition, maybe Odyssey. Its the worst classic AC, The protagonist is obnoxious and dumb, the game is buggy, the 100% required tasks are extremely hard (i bet Giant and the storm is impossible). Buy another AC instead of this.

Just reinstall Ubisoft Connect (Uplay),that worked for me just now.I had exactly the same problem as you,BTW game is great,rare bugs,with reshade even better.

Although this is a months old thread revival, I'm almost betting that you didn't read any of the above. Reinstalling UPlay at this point is pointless because Ubi$oft moved on from that former launcher/store of theirs into Ubi$oft Connect[ubisoftconnect.com] and that is the one that you should reinstall in the same path it was after uninstalling, rebooting your PC and then doing it again just to be sure that it's clean of any temporary files that may had been left lingering about.

Also the next time, I strongly advise you to look for the previous post's date before reviving thread because I can almost assuredly bet that no one that followed it back then is still around keeping track of it. Imho, it's better to start off a new thread and eventually link to this one as a previous, similar problem example that you're willing to solve.

Same issue - tried almost everything, even such techniques like installing the game on c:/ or unplugging all additional stuff like monitor. Is there any anwser?

ive run into the same problem i have come to terms that uplay and steam are not friends they dont support these older games black flag wsa the same way i got the season pass and steam stop supporting the season pass if you bye through black flag youre not going to get all the goodies ive now have 3 games that i got are unplayable they are stickkin us deep with no support you have a better chance of hell freezing over this is the hard truth and they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ us please help and make friends just like 10yrs past when gaming was good i wonder what game is next how about a refund

if you heve windows 10 that is why it doesnt run ♥♥♥♥♥ if you look at the main page on the ac3 you will find the anser for the game that is why it does not run hope this helps happy gaming
