You can't get the Original version, it's been unlisted from Ubisoft and Steam. They force you to pay for this Remaster, even though the AI is horrible, and the Graphics some say is bad compared to the OG.

Is that even possible? But to answer your question, yes, do play cause it holds information you're gonna want. I'm not sure if you've played Assassin's Creed Black Flag or Rogue, but in order is AC 4 Black Flag, Rogue, then Assassin's Creed III via story.

Why does that link just take me to the community Hub for Steam? Is that where it's supposed to take you, not another website?

had to put in spaces cuz it's getting censored for some reason

Even more weird is that when I clicked on that link, it just says site cannot be reached... Well, guess my chance for any steam keys are gone.

That's just to have it delivered to your home. That's literally the ONLY way to play the Original, you can't get it for steam anymore.

This doesn't say anything about Steam keys, just Ubisoft keys. Not that it should be a big deal considering you need to run it through Ubisoft launcher regardless.

But you can't activate any DLC for AC3 original because of the server shutdown. I don't know if anyone found a workaround for that yet.

Yea there seems to only be uplay keys, you can also just pirate it
