Why does this remaster cost more than AC Odyssey?

I was viewing the steam sale and found that this game costs 20 dollars. That is quite some money to upgrade a game we have. I then browsed the other games on sale and found that AC Odyssey costs 15 dollars. That means that a remaster of the 2012 AC game costs more than the largest AC game on steam. Is this a mistake or is it intentional?

It may have to do with the fact that its included with the AC Odyssey season pass.

You are getting AC3 & Liberation Remastered in the same package. You have to install AC3 to be able to access Liberation Remastered, as its not standalone as the original HD release.

There wasn't an upgrade path for original owners of AC3 from what I recall.

its a remaster, meaning they remade a lot of the original assets and did work on tuning the game from the original game. and its way better than odyssey so its up to you. the game also has its own weather system. which was literally the only creed game to ever do that. you can make the weather whatever you want whenever you want. feel like ambushing at night in the pouring rain and lightning and thunder..... you can totally do that. feel like attacking a convey in the sunset snow.... you can do that.

True, but games are never sold quality by price. Some older games don't cost that much.

I paid 20 quid for the odyssey ultimate edition and got this in there, so fair deal.
