Essential missions checklist

AC3 is boring my god but I want to finish the Miles story. There are lots of minimap busywork like a lot of Ubisoft games so I was wondering which I should bother with and which I should not. This in terms of STORY and any handcrafted cutscenes.

I can surmise Peg Leg and Homestead missions are a must. Anything else? I am thinking Liberation missions to meet more characters?

Storywise you can skip all the contracts; assassination (3), courier (7) and delivery (8). Assassination and courier are too easy and less time consuming than the deliveries.

With the club missions (Boston Brawlers, Frontiersmen, Thieves and hunting society) you can skip the absurd time consuming "list of actions", and do the "named" ones (the man eater, feline feet, finding the sasquatch.... about 19 misions), for some minor stories not related to the main story.

Peg leg and homestead are a must, yep.

Liberation ones are interesting, each character has a diferent assassin action, and they have some dialogues with some backstory (not a lot and some are really bland)

Naval missions, yep, one of the templars is the boss of this "mini-game"

Privateer missions, are interesting but dont have any story related to them.
