Any fix or settings for broken HDR
This game looks like crap with HDR on or off. Totally washed out. Entire city is cast in thick “fog” during 360-syncs. Clouds are barely visible against white sky. Tried all combinations of settings. 300/200 seemed to be least offensive.
Even matched the HDR settings from New Dawn and Division 2 which both look great. Tried turning off HDR and still washed out. Game is unplayable ugly. Cutscenes are twice as bright as gameplay. Faces/heads look like potatoes. Love this game but can’t stand to look at it. Melts my face like Ark of Covenant.

I’ve heard enabling DX12 might fix HDR but not seeing an option for this. Do you have to edit a config file to activate DX12?

300 nits? Definitely not. Put the nit value at whatever your monitors max brightness is in nits (if you don't know, then just put 1000). Then adjust the paperwhite until it looks good. No less than 120 though.

I am using 900 nit max brightness with a paper white of 180, on a 600 nit monitor, and it looks great.
