No Achievements?

Have to say, feel pretty cheated as a Steam AC game collector that once again there are no achievements.

Xbox and PS both have achievements. Can we assume Switch players get them as well?

Origins and Odyssey had them, and cards.

But on Steam we get nothing for a remaster.

Baffling, Ubisoft. Just outright a puzzling move.

It's a matter of perspective i guess. This ''arbitrary nonsense'', as you call them, just add up to the fun for me. I don't say i won't enjoy the game without them, but i would prefer they also added them on steam.

Its part of the fun. Especially when it comes to re-playing a game, which is what I would be doing playing the Remastered edition of this game. Achievements necessary, for replays. You do you, I'll do me but most players are going to agree with my point of view on this one.

Yeah it would need steam achievements for me to buy a remake of a game I already own. Otherwise if I feel the need to play ac3 I will just play the original. I think uplay know they aren't going to usurp steam as No.1 pc gaming platform so I can only assume they misjudge the importance of steam achievements to some of us, and it's usually people who buy numerous games that like the achievements on steam. Yet they did it with origins odyssey, confusing !

I personally treat achievements as part of a game. Games gain +10 to replayability, and i like to see 100% completion under games which i like.

At Uplay it is showing the acievements. I already have got activated some free rewards. If they realy are not ingame at steam then +1 to

/edit: tested: the acievements for this game at Uplay are saying Assassins Creed 3 and are not counting any achievements. also the ingame Uplay - interface is not working right.

Yep, it makes it worth replaying to 100% + all other consoles got them. Stupid they cant add them on steam & have Origins & Odyssey with them. Makes no sense.
