Is This for Assassin's Creed III Remastered or Liberation ?, Plus when exiting to windows from a failed attempt to key map Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered the Game Crashes "not Responding"
Open your home directory and browse to Documents\Assassin's Creed Liberation HD. Then open the Assassin3.ini file with Notepad or another plain text editor. Look for lines like these (XXX are key numbers):
LeftStickUp=XXX
LeftStickDown=XXX
LeftStickLeft=XXX
LeftStickRight=XXX
Note that those lines appear several times, as for some reason the game has several input profiles under the hood. You can find out the correct set by changing them in-game and then looking at which set changed in the file (or by following the clue on the SelectedInput line). You can find out your favorite keys by assigning each in-game and writing the numbers down.
For your convenience, here are the numbers for arrow keys:
LeftStickUp=200
LeftStickDown=208
LeftStickLeft=203
LeftStickRight=205
Simply replace the numbers in the file, save it, and start playing.
I can't understand how an amateurish bug like this ever got through QA.
Excellent
This worked great!
Thanks!
