Motion Blur Issue | Shadow Issue Fix
Noticed this major issue. When you turn off motion blur in the settings it turns off during gameplay but the moment you boot up game or restart it, its back on. And yes Motion blur causes fps drops in certain areas. Would love to see that option fixed.

Another find that I learned was that Shadows seems to not be applied b/c since there is no Shadow setting which I found interesting. Not sure if its placeabo or not but I found out in the ini config file for AC3R config file you can tweak shadow quality setting.

Instructions Go Here: Copy and Paste following in Win10 Search bar
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Assassin's Creed III Remaster\

1. Open Assassin3Remaster.ini Using Notepad++ or so
2. Find ShadowQuality=0
3. Change it to ShadowQuality=2 for max shadows. It goes as high as 2 no higher.

Quality settings reference
0= Normal
1= High
2= Very High

Environment Texture Quality setting maxes out at 2 (Very High) and so does Shadows apparently. Texture Quality itself only maxes out to 1 (High) setting. Even if you change it to 2 it will change back to 1 just loading the game. Shadow setting sticks no matter what setting you change in Graphics options.

I also learned that AA Multisampling can be tweaked. Not sure if its Placeabo or not but it does drop FPS if changed.
MultiSampleType=0

I found setting it to 2 has some change to aliasing in the game and reduces it with minor change without fps dropping by a lot. Tried 4 and 8 as well and they seemed to do something as well. Don't really notice it until you are ingame. Though using value of 8 dropped my fps by good amount. Like I said could be Placeabo but might be something to look into.

Another thing I found
ResolutionModifier=100

Is basically the Resolution Scale in graphics option. I did try changing it to higher number. As long as you don't touch or change the Resolution Scale option in settings it won't change it. I have actually tried 125 and it seemed to work but once again could very well be placeabo. You will get some sort of FPS drop as well depending how high you set it. I know I lost good amount of FPS with 175 at one time.

their task was just to release a remaster to get more money, the fact that it would be good was not part of the deal. I bought it as part of the Season pass for AC Odyssey played for about 5 hours and deleted it. Now I decided to try again and this time I will pass it. but its quality is so terrible that I'm afraid I won't pass it

oh yeah, iv no doubt now that this was nothing more than a quick cash grab, iv now gone back to the original ac3 and just did few color tweaks to the game to inject some life into it, its in a better state than the remaster
