I do agree, I'm very curious to see if Percy will beat the record!
Teo is the kind of gamer I aspire to be - good at what he does, loves playing, but likes encouraging others to enjoy the game as well, happily celebrating a beginner's first steps with the same enthusiasm as a master's virtuoso performance, and building a community of like-minded players that feel the same. Teo is a good dude. We should all try to be like Teo.
Ashley, much like Teo, has clearly chosen her path and passion and embraced it. There's a hundred stories running in her head every moment of every day, and while her unbridled enthusiasm and lack of brakes might feel overwhelming, one thing she'll never be is boring.
By contrast, Naomi isn't much for excitement. She likes her peace and quiet, working on her beloved machines and fixing them to work /just/ right. There's craftmanship and love in everything she does, and it shows.
Speaking of craftsmanship and dedication, you don't get much more dedicated than Gavin. Sure, he might seem impersonal and reserved, but he too cares a great deal both about the arcade and the people within it, even if sometimes what he envisions to be best for them isn't what they'd want. He doesn't always communicate well across that divide, which is something I can unfortunately empathize with, but there's no malice in him.
Percy... Well, Percy's story is more than a few spoilers. If you want to know what I like about him, you'll have to spend some time talking with him and learning about him. But he's picked his goal, and while he's in no particular hurry he's happy working his way along.
And while we're on the topic of people in no particular hurry, let's talk about Francine. While everyone else still gives a sense that their story is still unfolding, Francine's is, well, mostly done. She's lived a long, full and on some occasions interesting life and appears to have very few regrets. Now she's spending her twilight years at her beloved arcade, watching over a new generation.
Part of that new generation is your childhood friend, Juniper, who inadvertedly sets the events in motion that start this adventure by sending you a copy of IRIS in an attempt to help you out of the slump you're in. She's kind, she's caring, and she really wants to see you happier than you are at the start of the game. And even if she's not always sure of the best way to help you get there, she won't stop trying.
IRIS is... Unexpectedly more than you'd assumed. That much becomes obvious very early on. How /much/ more, you'll have to find out on your own by playing the game. She's super helpful, though.
And saving my personal romance choice for last, there's QueenBee, competitive player of a game I really wish existed in the real world. She's fierce, she's passionate, and she takes no prisoners. It's not easy being a woman in the world of professional MOBA gaming and dealing with that is causing her some stress, but it's what she's good at and she's not letting the bastards or randos grind her down.
if I would have to choose a guy. Wasn't there a guy with darker skin? The chef of the Acarde?
I think that one guy was okay too if I think about the right one.
I didn't really hated any character but I don't think I would go for the record breaker right away or how he was named. I think his design included much red.
My vote for now would be on queen be I suppose I just remember her a bit better and I could a bit understand the repair girl/ wrench girl.
To be honest I think the acard effects where half the reason why I decited to put it on my wishlist. The character design is not bad but I wasn't sure if it was enough for me before I was playing the demo.
I also liked the fact that the devs checked to see if the player named their arcade after her. How could you not?
1. Ashley I forgot what her plans for chapter 5 where, but I enjoyed to read about her problems and whatever. I started to really like her more than I thought even if she looked like the typical female that everyone would like and I hate because it would be the typical generic female.
I had to think of Aeris FF7 which was not my type of character.
2. Percy Not really sure if I would put him on place 2, but he and Ashley are two character I grew to like even if I expected me to hate them at first, I think I really liked their story.
3. Naomi and Queenbee
Queenbee was my first romance but the one I really wanted to go for after playing my gutsy character was Naomi, however even Naomis romance didn't really earned place 1.
4. Teo I liked how my main char reacted around him but he is not my favourite and it was one of the ending I skipped mostly because I had done so many endings already and I got bored.
5. Gavin It was nice but he to was one of the routes I skipped more but his story was bad but not better than the others in my eyes.
I still have to do Junipers route.
