Terrible mouse smoothing
Any idea how to disable this nonsense in 2020?

Nothing in game directory, and in system register are the same items that are in game.

When will developers learn... mouse acceleration and smoothing, those doesn't belong to PC. Mouse != controller.

Anyway, you can minimize the acceleration by setting the system's mouse speed to low and game's mouse speed to high.

It's hideous I can't believe a game that is otherwise looking very promising has this problem :( I'm going to hold until there is a fix, it's sooo damn annoying

The game has been out for a year and if there were a fix we would probably know about it by now. Thankfully, controlling the sphere is far from the only thing you do in the game.

We're looking into this issue. Just to clarify here, is the issue with mouse smoothing on the Sphere looks control, or are you seeing moue smoothing happen with the 2D menu cursor?

Not sure about "seeing", more like feeling. Mouse cursors aren't supposed to be accelerated or smoothed. Using raw data stream is in my honest opinion the best way to deal with cursor in fps games, menus etc.

The problem with Observation I'm having is the cursor movement in menu.
The look movement in game is understandable, no issue there, since the sphere is controlled in zero g by venting pressured air (if I remember correctly).

To clarify it's not an issue, but the game treats mouse as a console controller. Which is a bad idea.

And if I can recommend, the screen resolution option should be reworked (for future projects I mean). Game should adapt to the screen's resolution, or to any set resolution.

Do you, by any chance, have controller plugged in? Are you running in 60 fps? I've never encountered what you've mentioned.

I have the same issue in menus. Mouse has some weird acceleration to it. In game it's not really noticeable, although I've only tried it a few times as I found the keyboard and mouse controls generally not as good as using a controller.

No controller, 100 fps.

Same here. Fps: 240. Mouse is super slow in 3d mode. Zoom in/out also terrible in 3D mode. I started using arrows for zoom/turn, it is much better. But then problem is click - it still meeds to be done by mouse. I'm not using controller (for now).

Did anyone ever fix this issue?

literally mouse acceleration causes so much input lag it feels like i'm drunk.

i really enjoy this game but i don't like this input lag from mouse acceleration, it is the difference between playable and unplayable games as a mouse and keyboard player.

i was unable to find any config file to make this edit to disable mouse acceleration/mouse smoothing.

in the 2d menu - i have all sorts of unrelated issues, where the crosshairs desync from the actual mouse when the mousewheel is used to scroll menu options. what else i really dislike is that i can't alt tab from the game to adjust picture and things on my screen as the game pauses to a black screen. theres a few quality of life things i would like to address.

This. Mouse cursor cannot have an inertia, unless the idea is to have the user fight the mouse, it should behave exactly the same as the cursor outside of the game.
