they are trying to attract a new crowd because pvp isnt supporting the game enough to keep them moving forward. so they are trying this to see if they can get more funding. its sort of the definition of EARLY ACCESS.
This game had 30k players at launch. Then it sustained for weeks more than it have today with this direction flip. People were just waiting for content, not for a different game.
They aren't trying to attract a new crowd, they are trying to get more money because what we gave them before probably ended, so they need more to take another year and a half of vacation. I trusted this project as a nomadic gameplay where walkers were our bases, as it was promised. I paid full price to support the development. I ended up being scammed with a poor copy of Albion Online and Conan Exiles.
so now i try this free to play weekend and will see how the game is
kewl
same problem here. 2x crashed with this game. while my other games doing fine
Maybe if they add a single-player button to the game and support dedicated servers that are not Nitrado. This would help all play styles for the game, pull in more players that eventually will play out the PvE content and then start on the PVP side of it
