Authentication failed when trying to join official server

hello

When trying to connect to the EU Official server I get kicked out for the loading screen with in game message "authentication failed".

Anyone know the solution or been having the same issue?

I did just re-install it. but perhaps that is true. How can I make sure the game is up to latest version?

try to restart steam? for what i know default version works with season 5 official server, then u need to change the branch in properties tab if u want to play modded servers or the season 4 classic servers. Anyway, i dont understand why the game is in this state, no info anywhere, no help for players to come back, nothing.

I would ask in the official Discord if you are still having trouble after restarting Steam. It might take an hour or two, but someone will respond that knows.

I have tried everything, restart steam, re-install game etc.
There is no information on this issue anywhere.
